Spectral data and web-based tools for the scientific analysis of high-resolution astrophysical spectra
Emmanuel Caux, Alain Klotz, Adam Walters, Charlotte Vastel and Valerio Lattanzi

Various data-bases regroup the latest spectral and collisional data from measurements and calculations. A variety of models (ranging from simple to highly complex) are available for different types of astrophysical object. Our idea is to create a web interface which will help a user to choose the most appropriate data and model to create a synthetic spectrum for the region to be studied. This CASSIS interface will also allow comparison of measured and calculated spectra and the adjustment of parameters for best correlation.
