Afterglow candidate for GRB 030501
M.Boer, A. Klotz, J.L. Atteia
The TAROT telescope (http://tarot.cesr.fr) D=25 cm, observed the field of
the GRB030501 less than 20 seconds after the GRB detected by INTEGRAL. An
optical afterglow (prompt emission ?) candidate is well senn at the following
coordinates :
RA = 19h05m37.9s
DEC = +6d18'51"
EQU = J2000.0
2003-05-01 : 03h10min37.60s to 03h11min07.60s Ut : m=15.0
2003-05-01 : 03h19min57.95s to 03h20min27.95s Ut : m=15.1
magnitudes are estimated from the GSC474326 star (assumed to be m=12.91
in V band)
12 other images between these two dates were also taken. They are currently
analyzed. An accurate magnitude measurement is under process...
